Forming and utilizing one’s own language in any field is an extraordinary achievement. A deep understanding and exploration of oneself is essential, and it is often difficult to gauge how much time this process will take. Designer Hezin O has continuously refined her unique visual language through exhibitions, publications, and commission work. Observing Hezin O’s active engagement both domestically and internationally leads us to anticipate what new approaches and projects she will unveil in the future. In the OS Seminar of July 2024, we will have the opportunity to hear Hezin O share her thoughts and stories gained from her work involving books, while also delving into her unique approach and creative world.

Hezin O (@ohezin) is a graphic designer based in Seoul. She currently runs Studio OYE, engaging in various commission projects while actively practicing work that bridges exhibitions and publications. Recently, she participated in the exhibition POST/NO/BILLS #5 BHLNTTTX at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam (2024, NL) and has won the title of ‘Most Beautiful Book in Korea’ in both 2023 and 2024.
