《The Street We Want to Die》 introduces a new spatial concept by the author, a student at Hongik University. This space marks the intersection of everyday life and the extraordinary in the Hongdae area, where the daily routines of Hongik University students, Mapo residents, and office workers meet the unusual experiences of tourists. The book applies this spatial collision to the reading experience. Sections that follow a ‘routine narrative flow’ are interrupted by pages with ‘unrelated, extraordinary content,’ disrupting the normal flow as these unexpected pages intrude upon the narrative’s familiar progression.
