“Excuse me, which designer Goeun Park are you referring to?”
This is likely one of the questions that has been frequently asked among graphic designers lately. Who is behind these wonderful works we see here and there? Goeun Park? Not only do Goeun Park (@gooeeunn) and Goeun Park (@gowaseo) share the same name, but they also have similar ages, and their English name spellings, as well as their websites and email addresses, only add to our confusion. To make matters even more interesting, they are reportedly attending the same school in the same year. In the OS Seminar of March 2024, we will bring both designers together to hear about their activities thus far. Since they are close friends, we’re already curious to see how their back-and-forth banter will unfold.

Goeun Park is a graphic designer and a researcher interested in narratives that encompass urban and architectural themes. She currently operates the design studio Mercurial and teaches typography and web design at a university.
