이 책은 필자의 박사과정 논문인 ‘한국의 국가무형문화재를 재해석한 일러스트레이션 연구’를 위하여 제작된 그림책이다. 연구에서는 각기 다른 무형문화재의 특성을 공연예술, 전통기술, 의례, 활동, 생활지식의 다섯 가지 유형으로 분류한 후, 각각의 유형에 어울리는 형식의 일러스트레이션으로 표현하였다. 한국의 국가무형문화재를 표현한 135종의 일러스트레이션이 수록되어 있다.
This book is a picture book created as part of the author’s doctoral dissertation, A Study on Illustrations Reinterpreting Korea’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The research categorizes the unique characteristics of various intangible cultural heritages into five types: performing arts, traditional crafts, rituals, activities, and everyday knowledge. Each type is represented through illustrations that best suit its format. The book features 135 illustrations depicting Korea’s national intangible cultural heritage.
