‘할 말 안 할 말 총서’는 그렇게 시작되었다.
And so began a personal, seemingly insignificant conversation with Hyejin Noh, the manager of 55cinema—the one and only independent film theater in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, a place with fifty-five seats where everything feels just right.
With the hope that a conversation between two people might somehow reach someone with no connection to either of them. With the hope that this book could simply be enjoyed, read lightly, and eventually forgotten without the need to search for meaning. After all, the conversations overheard from the table behind you at a café are often the most interesting ones. Still, I wished to leave behind these private conversations as a record—conversations that, at least to me, held meaning.
And that is how the Things Said and Unsaid series began.
