Sequel World 1 serves as both a continuation of the artist’s previous work and a title that represents a world encompassing those works, embodying a declaration to continue the series. At the center of each page, 997 cut images flow horizontally, originating from a hum and evolving through poetry, drawing, video, and performance. Surrounding them, fragments of text collected over five years are arranged clockwise. In the remaining margins, footnotes from the editor’s perspective appear, as if conversing with or justifying the past self. These fragmented texts and images, with no clear chronological order, collide, intertwine, and explode within this screw-like structure, propelling themselves towards the future.
