‘뿔’은 창작자 안에서 서서히 자라나 밖으로 드러나는 어떤 움직임이다. 그것은 아직 이름 붙지 않은 생각일 수도 있고, 설명하기 어려운 감각이나 충동일 수도 있다. 창작자는 작업을 이어가는 과정에서 그 존재를 감지하고, 때로는 붙잡으려 하며, 때로는 따라간다. 카쎈타는 릴레이 드로잉 프로젝트 《뿔》을 통해 창작자 각자의 ‘뿔’이 드러나는 순간에 주목한다. 참여 작가들은 완성된 결과보다 과정에 집중하며, 정해진 순서에 따라 드로잉을 이어간다. 드로잉을 통해 자신의 ‘뿔’을 더듬고 바라보며, 그것이 각자의 작업과 어떻게 연결되는지를 돌아본다. 이 프로젝트는 2025년 9월 6일과 7일 양일간 서울시 중구 신당동의 한 공간에서 진행되었다. 본 출판물은 프로젝트의 기록으로, 참여 작가들의 ‘뿔’에 관한 사유와 흔적을 담고 있다.
BBUL (Korean for “horn”) refers to a force that gradually grows within a creator and takes shape in the outside world. It may begin as an unnamed thought, a difficult-to-describe sensation, or an impulse that resists definition. Throughout the creative process, creators become aware of its presence—sometimes attempting to grasp it, and at other times simply following where it leads. Through the relay drawing project BBUL, KASSENTAH focuses on the moments when each creator’s BBUL comes into view. Rather than emphasizing the finished result, participants concentrate on the process itself, continuing a sequence of drawings in a predetermined order. Drawing becomes a way of tracing and observing one’s own BBUL, and of reflecting on how it connects to their artistic practice. The project took place over two days, September 6–7, 2025, in a space located in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. This publication serves as a record of the project, bringing together the participants’ reflections on BBUL alongside the traces left through the act of drawing
