Indefinite Inflorescence is an observational report on Gemma, a fictional species residing on the planet Neptune. The Gemma species has the unique ability to create plants using cells within their heads. The book’s protagonist, Ruby, guides the reader through a month-long journey across various regions of Neptune, during which their distinct characteristics are studied and documented.
The book is divided into seven chapters, covering topics such as habitation, food, clothing, communication, physiology, and rituals. On the final page of the book, there is a cell gifted by Ruby, which can be attached to the numbered hole in the upper right corner of each page, serving as a bookmark.
