『Round Trip』은 어딘가로 향하는 여정을 스냅으로 기록한 사진집이다. 차창으로 비쳐드는 밝은 빛, 쉼 없이 변화하지만 눈을 감는 순간 정지된 잔상으로 새겨지는 풍경은 작가에게 끝없이 부유하는 이동의 감각으로 남았다. 이러한 경험을 통한 당시의 감정과 생각을 표현하기 위해 작가는 밀착 인화지 위에 추상적인 흔적을 남기고 이를 책으로 엮었다. 책장을 빠르게 넘기면 개별 잔상이 하나의 이야기로 연결된다.
Round Trip is a photo book that captures the journey to somewhere through snapshots. The bright light streaming through the car window and the ever-changing scenery, which becomes imprinted as frozen afterimages the moment you close your eyes, left the artist with a lingering sense of endless movement. To express the emotions and thoughts from this experience, the artist left abstract traces on contact prints and compiled them into a book. When the pages are flipped quickly, the individual afterimages connect to form a single story.
