Studio Atlant (@studio.atlant) approaches design through an analytical and exploratory process, examining the relationships between content and context, form and media. Their ongoing interest in design history and visual culture can be seen throughout their work, from publications to visual identities. In September 2025, at the CC Seminar, we spoke with Studio Atlant about the ideas and ways of thinking that shape their practice.

Introduction
Studio Atlant (@studio.atlant) is a Copenhagen-based graphic design studio run by designers Stefan Thorsteinsson and Cecilie Nellemann. The studio primarily works with typographic projects of all scales, ranging from books and publications to exhibitions, websites, and identities. Its practice is informed by a deep interest in design history and visual culture.
