정다혜(@jongdare)가 디자인한 앨범은 뮤지션의 개성만큼이나 신선한 아트워크로 음악을 청취하고 싶은 욕구를 자극하곤 합니다. 정다혜 디자이너는 매직스트로베리사운드에서 실리카겔, 백예린, 10cm의 매력 넘치는 앨범 아트워크를 만들어 온 장본인입니다. 사진, 그래픽, 일러스트레이션 등 다양한 장르를 오가며 색다른 이미지를 만들어내는 정다혜 디자이너의 행보는 시각예술 분야에 대한 폭넓은 식견을 짐작하게 합니다. 2024년 4월, CC 세미나에서는 정다혜 디자이너와 함께한 뮤지션들의 음악을 들으며 앨범 아트워크 디자인에 관한 이야기를 나눠보았습니다.
Albums designed by Dahye Jeong (@jongdare) often make people want to listen to the music, thanks to artwork as distinctive as the musicians behind it. At Magic Strawberry Sound, she created album artworks for artists such as Silica Gel, Yerin Baek, and 10cm. Moving across photography, graphic design, illustration, and other visual forms, she creates unique images that reflect her broad understanding of visual art. In April 2024, we listened to music by the musicians she has worked with and talked about album artwork design with her.
소개
정다혜(@jongdare)는 프로젝트 그룹 파일드(@filed.kr)의 사진가로 활동 중이며, 매직스트로베리사운드(Magic Strawberry Sound)에서 그래픽 디자이너로 일했습니다. 사진을 활용해 이미지의 다양한 가능성을 유희적으로 탐구하며, 《타이포잔치 2021: 국제 타이포그래피 비엔날레>(2021), 《Art Street》(2020), 《Filed SS 2020>(2019) 등의 전시에 참여했습니다.
Introduction
Dahye Jeong (@jongdare) works in photography as a member of Filed (@filed.kr), and previously worked as a graphic designer at Magic Strawberry Sound. Using photography as her main medium, she playfully explores the many possibilities of images. She has participated in exhibitions including Typojanchi 2021: International Typography Biennale (2021), Art Street (2020), and Filed SS 2020 (2019).
