우리는 기분과 상황에 어울리는 플레이리스트를 만들며 자신의 취향을 다듬고, 타인이 만든 플레이리스트를 들으며 감상 경험을 공유한다. 플레이리스트를 통해 음악적 세계를 조형하고 확장해 나가는 과정에서 플레이리스트는 음악으로 구성한 개인을 대표하는 프로필이 되기도 한다. 『Resonance Record』는 플레이리스트가 우리의 마음속에 어떠한 감정과 이야기를 불러일으키는지, 우리가 플레이리스트를 통해 어떻게 고유한 심상을 만들어 가는지에 주목한다. 인터뷰를 통해 플레이리스트에 대한 감상 경험을 수집하여 기록하고, 인터뷰에서 발견된 참여자의 심상을 이미지로 형상화하였다.
We curate playlists that match our mood and circumstances, refining our tastes, while also sharing our listening experiences by enjoying playlists created by others. Through the process of shaping and expanding our musical world with playlists, these collections of songs often become a personal profile, reflecting who we are. Resonance Record focuses on how playlists evoke emotions and stories within us, and how we craft unique imagery through them. By gathering insights from interviews about participants’ experiences with playlists, these impressions were visualized and captured in image form.
