『biT』은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 사진가 표기식의 시선이 머문 곳, 한강의 12년을 담은 사진집이다. 스튜디오 고민(studio gomin)의 출판 레이블 ‘LASTzCOPY’가 선보이는 두 번째 프로젝트로, 2013년부터 2025년까지 작가가 기록해 온 한강의 윤슬 중 가장 찬란한 80조각을 엄선했다. 이 사진집에 수록된 80점의 작품은 피사체인 ‘물’의 본질을 넘어선 시각적 경험을 선사한다. 그의 사진 속 한강은 유려한 회화적 텍스처를 띠거나 차가운 금속성의 광택을 내뿜기도 하며, 때로는 마치 조각된 고체와 같은 낯선 물성으로 치환된다. 유동하는 강물 위로 쏟아진 빛, 그리고 그 위를 스쳐 간 긴 시간. 그 고유한 결들이 ‘책’이라는 또 다른 수면 위로 겹겹이 투영된다.
biT is a photobook that captures twelve years of the Hangang River through the lens of Seoul-based photographer Pyo Kisik. It is the second project released by the publishing label LASTzCOPY from studio gomin. The book brings together 80 of the most radiant moments of sunlight shimmering on the river’s surface, selected from photographs taken between 2013 and 2025. The images in this book go beyond the subject of water, offering a striking visual experience. In Pyo Kisik’s photographs, the Hangang appears at times as a fluid, painterly texture, at others as a metallic sheen, and sometimes even as an unfamiliar material—almost like a sculpted solid. Light poured onto the flowing river, while the long passage of time drifting across its surface. Those distinctive textures gather once more across the surface of the book.
